Christina Aguilera Drops Spooky Song “Haunted Heart:” Listen

Xtina contributes new song “Haunted Heart” for the forthcoming animated film, “The Addams Family.”

It’s officially Halloween season! Christina Aguilera dropped the first haunted pop song of the year – it’s titled “Haunted Heart,” and will land on the Adams Family soundtrack.

The track is reminiscent of Legend X’s Back To Basics era. It incorporates clunky live-instrumentation and Christina’s signature soaring vocals (there’s even a few sky high falsettos and ferocious growls).

“Ain’t no windows / Ain’t no doors / no escaping the way you feel,” she sings over haunting background vocals and a whirling siren.

Speaking of Xtina… the singer might also record a song for Disney’s live action film, Mulan

“It’s in discussion,” she confirms in a new interview with Haute Living. “I don’t know much about the project, but things are going back and forth, and I’m discussing being part of it.”

Christina recorded “Reflection” for the original animated film at the start of her career. She was recently honored at Disney’s Legends Awards. She also performed “Reflection” at the event.

The two new songs are in addition to the Latin album Xtina is working on.
